Someone Already Owns The Iphone 7... Plus/Pro

Ever heard of Jimmy Lin?? Probably Not. Unless you live in Taiwan or are familiar with their social culture. He's a big celebrity there though and has a habit of leaking Iphone models before their official release date and yes.. he's done it once again. Hardcore apple fans may remember him from previous years when he pulled the same tricks with unreleased Iphones. This time around he has been photographed with what would seem like the upcoming Iphone 7 plus or is it pro.. who knows.
All that we know is that the phone he seems to be casually using has the same dual camera setup in line with the various leaked renders and dummy units of the upcoming 5.5 inch phablet. But who's to say it's not a dummy unit.. those are easy to come by.. especially in Asia... could be just another celebrity stunt.. who knows.
Apple is expected to unveil the new iphone models on September 7th and release in stores latest by September 23rd.

Android 7.0 Nougat Rolling Out...

As earlier announced, Google has begun the roll-out of the latest version of their software update Android 7.0 Nougat. Of course this roll-out is only applicable to google's own software devices for now namely the Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X, Motorola Nexus 6, HTC Nexus 9, Asus Nexus Player, Google Pixel C and General Mobile 4G. These phones would receive the Nougat update in the next couple of weeks. Everyone else has to wait... hopefully not for long though.
Android 7.0 Nougat brings with it the ability to set multiple locales and languages, a total of 72 new emoji s, multi-window functionality, double tapping the multitasking button to switch to previous app, a dedicated VR mode, Doze on the go for better battery life, file based encryption and a host of other features.

The Backpack made up of Speakers!!!!... Who is this for?!!!!

Get in here Audiophiles!!!!... or maybe DJ's ..or people who want everyone to know what they are listening to..regardless if the persons want to or not. Herein lies my dilemma. The BeatBringer is a backpack full of speakers that allows you connect with your media device and pump out loud music. How loud you might ask.... 110 focking db loud (that's about as loud as a rock concert. yep!!!!) and i'm still really trying to figure out who this is for. Surely taking this about anywhere indoors would probably get you arrested but hey..maybe this targets some people who actually do want to get arrested. But let's be more reasonable... even taking this mammoth of a bluetooth speaker to the conventional park is sure to equip you with some brand new haters. Ok, maybe to a playground, like a basketball game... so while the game's on, the music is pumping?! That seems more reasonable right? Anyways, the BeatBringer is fitted with a pair of 6-inch neodymium water resistant woofers, two 25mm soft dome neodymium tweeters, a removable 4400mAh battery good for 15 hours of battery life and a USB port for charging your devices. Oh and if u're wondering about damaging it considering it's usefulness applies mainly in rough terrains or active environments it would also be impact resistant. The BeatBringer would cost you about $670 when it's made available in november later this year, but let me know what you think. Would you be buying it? and how when and where would you be using it.

Samsung's Note 7.... the not so great stuff!!

Samsung's new Galaxy Note 7 is currently all the hype in the smartphone industry. From the cleverly implemented iris scanner, the beautiful edge to edge design, the introduction of water-proofing in the note line and the enhanced capabilities of the s-pen (including writing under water), critics have gone as far as calling it 'the best big phone ever made'. But like all things humanly made even though this gadget strives for perfection we all know that's unattainable and it still has somethings one would consider to be flaws or drawbacks...

1. It's Expensive...!!!

The trend of 'more for less' is becoming more and more popular in the smartphone industry. From the nexus phones to the one plus 3 and motorola's g4, cheaper phones are packing higher end specs. Looking at the spec sheet of the one plus 3 and samsung's note 7.. they are pretty much evenly matched with the one plus phone even besting it in the RAM department which makes it a better multitasking phone. More importantly the one plus is available to purchase for more than half the price of the note 7 which makes it hard to justify making that purchase. It's hard to make a case for the note phone when that disparity is brought up but hey.. if you have the money.. sureeee.. buy what you want.

2. It has Horrible Speakers!!!...

The much acclaimed restoration of water proofing in the samsung galaxy lines brought about it's downsides. The hardware component that took the biggest hit are undoubtedly the speakers and that is also carried over to the note 7. The note 7 (along with the s7 and s7 edge) probably have the worst speaker system on any flagship device. If that sort of thing really matters to you or is a deal breaker, might be a good idea to shop elsewhere.

3. The Bloatware...

Like some other critics do, i wouldn't go overboard and say that the overall software is bad as the note 7's software does bring with it some great level of functionality and takes full advantage of the s-pen and in regards to the overall outlook i still believe it's a matter of preference.. you either hate it or you don't. But what still bogs me is the carrier bloatware and duplicate apps. These continue to complicate the user experience as two or three applications being available for performing one task is still something i'm not a fan of with carriers also including their own bloatware just makes for a not so good user experience.

In conclusion, samsung's note 7 is probably the best phone you can buy today but if any of the above reasons is something that might bother you.. probably spend that money elsewhere.. after all it is a whole lot of money.

RANKING THE TOP 5 TECH YOUTUBE REVIEWERS

Tech reviewers on YouTube have been around for a while and are only getting more by the day. I'm subscribed to most tech channel's and felt i should give you a ranking and recommendation of who i feel are the top five and why you should subscribe to their channels for the latest tech.

5. Michael Fisher (Mr.Mobile)

His name is Michael Fisher, he is a writer, sailor, pod-caster and recovering actor... all self proclaimed, but we all know him as a you-tuber... Mr. Mobile. I have followed his reviews since his time at pocketnow and he always stood out from the other channel reviewers much so that reviews on the channel without his input seemed bland. He displays an adept knowledge of his craft while also throwing in a joke or two.

4. Michael Kukielka (DetroitBORG)

Michael Kukielka A.K.A Mike the DetroitBORG has over 870,000 subscribers and watching his reviews, it's no surprise why. He is probably the best software reviewer on this list as he details every aspect of product software in his reviews helping we less knowledgeable folk learn new software tricks and technology

3. Joshua Vergara (Android Authority)

The Android Authority channel truly is your number one source for all things android as they usually are first with reviews of android phones. But it really isn't just the speed to which their reviews come out that impresses me but how well those new devices are reviewed by the channels lead editor joshua vergara. His reviews usually are the best source for a first take on your new or next handheld device.

2. Marques Brownlee (MKBHD)

Marques!!! I'm obviously a big fan. Honestly feels like i know the guy. He's just 22 but is probably the most popular on this list and has over 3.5 million people subscribed to his MKBHD channel. The simplicity of his reviews are quite amazing and would appeal to just about anyone even the non tech-savy people. He's so cool he even got an interview with kobe bryant!!!

1. Lewis Hilsenteger (Unbox Therapy)

Lou the 'Unboxer' from Unbox Therapy lands number one on this list by having the most popular tech channel on You Tube (over 5 million subscribers gathering over a million views per upload) and by having also the most exciting and interesting channel. From unboxing new and sometimes strange tech products, the originality of this channel is just absurd not to talk of lou's own ridiculouslness which just makes the channel absolute fun.
